Raw and selvedge denim
Raw
Raw describes denim’s unwashed or minimally processed condition. It can be raw without being selvedge.
Selvedge
Selvedge describes the cloth’s self-finished woven edge. Selvedge denim can also be washed or rinsed.
We explain the treatment, any stretch content and washing instructions for your chosen cloth. These details help us establish the measurements and show you how to care for the finished jeans.

Our jeans are made in Montréal with specialist expertise in denim. We work on the measurements and proportions with you, keeping the way you will wear the finished pair in mind.
Each pair begins with an established model. Before you order, we explain how that style can be adapted to your measurements and preferences.
Planning your jeans
Timing and care
Four to six weeks
Allow four to six weeks for production as a current guide. We confirm your design, price and schedule during consultation before you order; delivery time is additional.
Care for your denim
Care for your jeans according to the instructions for their cloth. Composition and treatment affect shrinkage, colour transfer and washing. If the fit changes or a repair is needed later, talk to us.
