Sustainability

A longer life for what we wear.

Beautiful clothing begins with how it is made. Its story continues with how often we wear it, how we care for it, and what we choose to keep.

Our approach

Make with purpose. Wear with pleasure.

At Maison Alltrueist, we want clothing to earn its place in your wardrobe. We focus on fit, useful details and materials that feel good to wear, working with specialized ateliers and factories for the quality each piece needs.

Made-to-measure and made-to-order services let us create in response to an order, rather than produce every possibility in advance. Alongside them, we offer an edited selection of ready-made pieces.

Materials

Chosen for the piece. Understood for what they are.

Natural fibres

Wool, cashmere, linen and cotton bring different qualities of warmth, breathability, texture and drape. We choose according to the garment and how you want to wear it.

Animal-free alternatives

We also offer animal-free alternatives, including selected plant-based textiles and leather alternatives. Composition matters: these materials can include synthetic components, so we describe them individually.

Clear information

A fabric’s origin or a familiar certification does not tell its whole story. We share composition, provenance and specific mill information where available, so you can choose with a fuller understanding.

Made when you choose it

Fewer pieces waiting. More pieces worn.

Our made-to-order knitwear uses 3D knitting to shape the garment, followed by finishing work. Producing after an order helps us limit finished stock; knitting to shape can also reduce cutting waste.

This is one part of our approach, rather than a claim that any garment has no impact. The yarn, production, transport and care all remain part of its story.

Life after purchase

The pieces you keep matter.

Airing a wool jacket, following the care label and attending to a loose seam can help a piece stay in use. When more work is needed, repair and restoration may offer a way forward.

We assess the material and its condition before recommending what can be done. Sometimes a repair will remain visible; sometimes a piece cannot be restored. Honest advice is part of caring for your wardrobe.

Our commitment

A wardrobe built over time. For a lifetime.

We keep learning, asking better questions and improving the way we work. Our aim is clothing you reach for often, and a relationship that continues well beyond the first purchase.
