Wardrobe preservation

Keep the pieces you love in your life.

A favourite jacket. A pair of shoes that fits just right. The pieces we return to deserve care, and the chance to be worn again.

Care, repair & restoration

Good care is part of good clothing.

Maison Alltrueist helps you look after clothing and accessories, including pieces purchased elsewhere. A repair can restore function, improve comfort or make a much-loved piece wearable again.

We work with ETERNA and specialist artisans according to the material and the work required. Every piece is assessed before we recommend an intervention.

What we can assess

From a small repair to a new chapter.

Clothing & knitwear

Seams, zippers, linings, small holes and signs of wear. We assess what the fabric will allow, whether the repair is discreet or becomes part of the piece’s character.

Shoes, bags & accessories

Soles, stitching, finishes and hardware can often be renewed. The construction and material determine which treatments are suitable.

Jewellery

Chain repairs, clasps, plating and stone settings require their own expertise. We assess the piece and explain the options before you decide.

Everyday care

Small habits. More years of wear.

Let clothing rest between wears. Air wool pieces, use hangers that support their shape, and follow each care label. Store knitwear folded and use shoe trees suited to your footwear.

Different materials need different care. If you are unsure about a stain, finish or treatment, ask before trying it. A little advice can prevent a much larger repair.

How it works

A clear assessment before any work begins.

01 — Share your piece

Send photographs and a description through our request form. Tell us what has changed, what you would like repaired and any care already attempted.

02 — Understand the options

We review the condition and explain the proposed work, its limitations and the estimate. Some pieces need to be examined in person before a final assessment.

03 — Decide with confidence

Work begins after you approve the estimate. Timing depends on the piece, the intervention and the specialist’s availability; we explain this before proceeding.

Tell us about yours. We will help you understand what can be repaired, what it involves and whether it is the right next step.
